Consent
Rights, consent and sensitive heritage
Contributors should confirm that they created the material or have permission to share it. They may choose between preservation and cataloguing only, or preservation with public display on the Archive’s digital platform and related online channels.
Contributors can be credited by full name, initials, family or community name, or remain anonymous. Sensitive material involving private homes, sacred practices, displaced communities, rituals or sensitive locations should be clearly identified.
Safeguards
Ethical principles and security
Every contribution must uphold individual and communal dignity, ensure privacy protection, respect cultural rights and accurately credit material authors.
Accepted contributions are transferred as structured submission packages to the protected CNR archive infrastructure. Each package records the form responses, unique identifiers, checksums, permissions and legal-document versions associated with the upload.
Support
Sending mode and assistance
Submission channels and assistance details will be communicated through the official DGA and HII channels.
Collection and digitisation days may also be jointly organised by DGA and HII at museums, libraries, archives, schools and cultural centres.
Need help?
Support may cover paper, old film, audio cassettes, technical upload problems and physical digitisation missions.
Join as a collaborator
Students, researchers, artists, filmmakers, anthropologists, architects, historians and digital heritage practitioners are invited to support interviews, digitisation, mapping, translation, metadata and documentation.
